Iomega StorCenter Pro NAS 150d

Iomega StorCenter Pro NAS 150d
Angle Discovery Tool Pro Administrative Configuration Tool

review

Network-attached storage gives small businesses a convenient way to add shared hard-drive capacity without having to install and configure a new file server or new drives in an existing server. The hot-swap capability of the Iomega StorCenter Pro NAS 150d, which lets you replace failed drives with the unit running, distinguishes it and makes it an appealing NAS system. Best of all, it won't break the bank.

Bottom Line

The Iomega StorCenter Pro NAS 150d lets you painlessly add fault-tolerant storage to your small-business network.

Pros

Lets you swap out a failed drive without taking storage off-line. Intuitive, Web-based administrative interface. Large capacity, good performance for the price.

Cons

Administrative interface doesn't automatically refresh. Altering admin settings during a backup or transfer causes problems.
