On the outside, the HP Pavilion dv2500t ($1,409 direct) looks pretty much like any other HP laptop that has graced the retail shelves in the last two years. It's what's inside that has gotten the makeover, complete with Intel's latest mobile chipset. The dv2500t is a mainstream media laptop loaded with a plethora of media capabilities, ranging from a 14-inch BrightView screen to Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium. There's a lot to like in the dv2500t, and its integration of the new Centrino Duo platform has contributed to some moderate performance gains.
