One quick glance at the Lexmark C770n ($999 direct) will show you that it's meant for high-volume printing. It's big, even for a color laser, and heavy, at 105 pounds (and a 150-pound shipping weight), and clearly aimed at small to medium-size offices or workgroups that need to move a lot of paper through their printer on a daily basis. More important, it focuses on all the right issues for its target audience, providing excellent speed for its price, great paper handling, and good-quality text and graphics. Photo quality is a little below par for a color laser, but still good enough for typical business use.
