Like a judge in the Miss America pageant, I can't give high numbers to a woman just because she's pretty. She's gotta have brains and talent, too. In the same vein, Tivoli's kookily named iYiYi iPod dock is a beautiful system that would blend seamlessly into any modern or retro-modern home design aesthetic, but, sadly, its other attributes don't quite measure up.
Audiophiles who prefer flat sound will appreciate this dock, but most folks will likely pine for more low-end boom.
Pleasant, flat sound; alarm programmable to wake up to iPod or radio. FM radio display scrolls artist/song title/radio station. Visually striking.
Not much low end—this is not for rap or electronic music. Distorts at high volumes. Internal AM antenna is weak. Doesn't display time when RDS (radio info scrolling) is enabled.
