EA SportsFight Night Round 3

Fight Night

review

bug artThe best way to learn a game is by actually playing it, and the mobile version of Fight Night Round 3 gets you right in the ring with an intense training mode that teaches you moves and lets you practice for as long as you want. You may, as I did, have trouble memorizing the key commands for uppercuts, jabs, and more. From there, you can select Quick Fight, or sign a contract and start competing for real. You can play as or against 10 famous boxers, including Oscar de la Hoya. And you can customize your body, hair, gloves, shorts and shoes. Be careful—if you don't mix things up, your opponent will actually learn your moves and you'll never get a punch in. Since only two athletes appear on the screen at any given time, it's easier to play than team sports in which everything is much smaller. If you're really into boxing, this is a good choice for on-the-go sparring.
