All of Brother's ink jet all-in-ones (AIOs) bear a strong family resemblance, but few are so similar as the MFC-5460cn ($150 street) and the MFC-440cn I reviewed a couple months ago. Both printers offer the same list of AIO functions: They print, scan, fax over a network, and work as standalone copiers and fax machines. Both carry an automatic document feeder (ADF) and a network port. And both print directly from a memory card or PictBridge-enabled camera. They even have the same street price.
