Though it's finally familiar to corporate users, the Lenovo brand name is still something of an enigma to rank-and-file small-business users. The Lenovo ThinkCentre A60 ($799 direct, $1,148 with 19-inch LCD monitor) has its roots in the corporate IBM ThinkCentre PCs and, by extension, the original DOS-powered IBM PCs. For the most part, the A60 tower I tested looks just like earlier ThinkCentre towersthe only difference is the Lenovo logo in the spot where the IBM logo used to reside. Now that IBM is completely out of the client hardware business, we can finally bid farewell to the IBM PC. The ThinkCentre A60 that continues on under Lenovo's watch is just as capable as the old ones in the small-business setting, but it has a new twist: an AMD processor.
