Dell's OptiPlex line of business desktops becomes more of a corporate mainstay with each passing day. Now gracing countless desks across the corporate world, the company's OptiPlex line serves as a yardstick for the business PC. That doesn't mean, however, that the OptiPlex systems are only for the Fortune 500 set. The new OptiPlex 745 ($1,502 direct, $1,771 with 17-inch LCD monitor) is a familiar, stalwart choice whether you're the corporate type or someone who wants to leave the corporate world and hang out your own shingle.
