Sprint International Smart Device IP-830W by Samsung

Samsung IP-830w
With Earphones Left Side

review

Smart Device CentralIn the smartphone world, a lot can happen in 18 months. For example, the Samsung i730, introduced in early 2005, supported both Wi-Fi and EV-DO, the first smartphone to do so. It also featured a touch screen, a stylus, and a slide-out keyboard, making it one of the most powerful handhelds to debut at that time. The new Sprint International Smart Device IP-830W by Samsung improves on the i730's flexible design by including CDMA and GSM compatibility, making this phone a great option for frequent travelers. As an overall smartphone, though, the IP-830W falls short of the mark.

The Samsung IP-830W is a useful niche solution for world travelers, but it's too large and compromised for everyone else.

Cons

It's a hulking beast. Uncomfortable to talk on. Awful battery life. No Wi-Fi.
