Philips 200WB7EB

Philips 200WB7EB
Angle Front Buttons

review

In the past few years, Philips has churned out an impressive line of LCD monitors, including last year's 200W6. Unfortunately, the company's latest offering, the 200WB7EB ($449 list) can't live up to the hype. Its performance falls short compared with similarly priced 20-inch widescreen displays I've seen recently.

Bottom Line

The Philips 200WB7EB gets you a high-resolution 20-inch widescreen for under $500, but there are better-performing LCD monitors available for around the same price.

Pros

Flexible base. IT-friendly. Reasonably priced.

Cons

Weak grayscale performance. Limited viewing angle. Lacks pivot software.

Welcome to a revolutionary new dimension in LCD TV technology. With a depth of less than one inch at its thinnest point, and a contrast ratio of 1 million to 1, the AQUOS Limited Edition Series is the culmination of 35 years of Sharp’s LCD innovation. Unmatched picture quality, ultra-thin design, and low energy consumption: it will change the way you watch TV. Part of Sharp’s line of 120 Hz LCD TVs.
