The Westinghouse LCM-22w2 ($500 street) is a great deal for those looking to upgrade to a 22-inch widescreen LCD monitor. Multimedia buffs, gamers, and business users alike will appreciate its performance and connectivity features. But its tilt-only stand may disappoint those who want more flexibility in their monitor, and its grayscale performance is subpar.

Bottom Line

The Westinghouse LCM-22w2 is a solid 22-inch widescreen LCD monitor with a nice assortment of A/V ports and a moderately quick pixel response rate. Overall, the panel performed quite well, although it had trouble with light shades of gray.

Pros

Great viewing angles. Plenty of A/V ports. Good motion performance.

Cons

Subpar grayscale performance. Tilt-only stand.
