Dell XPS 210

Dell XPS 210
Full Set Tower Angle Tower Front

review

With the XPS 210, Dell packs more power into the same compact form factor as its predecessor's, that of the XPS 200. The XPS 210's mobile Intel Core 2 Duo processor, larger drive space, and better graphics card make it quite attractive for anyone who wants a compact yet powerful PC for a dorm room or bedroom. But these good looks come at a price: The XPS 210 costs about $400 more than the XPS 200 it replaces.

Bottom Line

Dell upgrades its "entry-level" XPS desktop with a powerful Core 2 Duo processor. It's more of an attractive Media Center PC now, but at a price.

Pros

Small. Quiet. XPS priority support line. Included 15-month Internet security subscription. Upgradable. Large hard drive. Core 2 Duo-equipped.

Cons

Ugly IR remote receiver. Not quite as tiny as other mini PC desktops. Significantly more expensive than its predecessor.
