review
Brother's low-price ink jet all-in-ones (AIOs) tend to be packed with desirable features that I give lots of points for, such as automatic document feeders (ADFs) and the ability to connect to a network. But they also tend to be suitable only for light-duty use because of their slow speed and low paper capacities. The Brother MFC-440cn ($149.99 list) fits that mold perfectly. It isn't notably different in size or features from the previous-generation 420cn that it replaces, although I can vouch for it being significantly faster when printing over a network.
