Good Mobile Messaging v4.9

Good Mobile Messaging v4.9
Today Screen Inbox Read E-mail

review

Smart Device CentralToday's device manufacturers boldly claim that their mobile devices can let you take your e-mail, contacts, calendar, and other important data with you. Sure, you can always transfer data from your PC to your handheld manually in order to access it while you're away from the office. But then you still have to sync all the data each time you return. With Good Mobile Messaging, your smartphone essentially acts as your PC while you're on the go, sending and receiving data all the time. With it, you're constantly in sync with your main business account. It's a true push e-mail solution that I found both powerful and easy to use.

Bottom Line

Good Mobile Messaging is a robust, over-the-air solution for business users to keep their PIM data synchronized on their handhelds.

Pros

Reliable push e-mail. Full-featured e-mail application rivals Microsoft Outlook. Supports multiple handheld platforms. Includes sophisticated fleet-management tools and security. Can turn vacation reminders on and off from the handheld.

Expensive. Requires either Exchange or Notes server, or hosted solution with a monthly fee. Lacks individual and small-business options to compete with BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS).
