Just like David Hasselhoff, German storage device manufacturer TrekStor's i.Beat line of MP3 players is very popular in the Deutschland, but a little less so here in the U.S. So in case you haven't heard, the TrekStor i.Beat Organix FM is a very full-featured, if somewhat bland-looking, flash-based MP3 player that's worth a look.

Bottom Line

Small and sporting an OLED screen, this is a versatile player with a few unusual features. Unfortunately, the Organix FM's interface isn't exactly user-friendly.

Pros

Two built-in headphone jacks. Good sound quality. Broad file format support. Simultaneous multisource recording. Good battery life. Nice included earbuds.

Cons

Navigation takes time to get used to. Doesn't work with online subscription services. No playlisting or bookmarking features.
