Toshiba Satellite U205-S5022

Toshiba Satellite U205-S5022
Angle Front Keyboard

review

Up until now, the only first-rate ultraportable that Toshiba offered was the Portégé R200, but its hefty price tag and laggard performance were definite turn-offs. That's all about to change. At $1,350 street, the Toshiba Satellite U205-S5022 puts price and performance in perspective. An ultraportable that weighs just over 4 pounds and carries dual-core components as well as a built-in DVD burner, it can serve as a fully equipped notebook for those who hit the road regularly. (The U205-S5002, a version with a slower processor, sells for $1,199.99 direct.)

Not as stylish as the Portégé R200.
