With the HP Color LaserJet 2605dtn ($699.99 direct), HP is betting that a substantial number of people care more about output quality and features than about print speed. The output is nothing short of impressive. In addition, features include a network connector, the ability to print directly from memory cards, and excellent paper handling, with a duplexer for printing on both sides of the page and two 250-sheet paper trays. Print speed, however, is abysmalthere's no other word for itand the combination leaves me both loving what this printer does and wishing it did it faster.
