WinBook 32M0

WinBook 32M0
Side A/V Inputs The Remote Control A/V Inputs

review

Everybody appreciates a bargain, and the WinBook 32M0 ($799.99 direct) ranks among the least expensive 32-inch LCD TVs that I've tested to date. The 32M0 offers high-definition resolution, good color quality, and a decent selection of A/V inputs. The catch? Its bright picture isn't easily tamed for viewing in light-controlled environments, and DVD movies that have lots of film grain appear too noisy. Otherwise, the 32M0 is a solid choice for gamers, HD enthusiasts, or anyone who doesn't spend a lot of time watching "old" movies.

Bottom Line

The WinBook 32M0 is one of the best values around for a 32-inch LCD TV that provides HD resolution and two digital video inputs—rare for inexpensive TVs. Unfortunately, its otherwise decent picture quality is marred by ineffective noise reduction for some DVDs.

Pros

Low price. TV provides two digital video inputs. Good color quality.

Cons

Poor video-noise-reduction function. Lacks backlight control. Lacks DTV tuner.

Welcome to a revolutionary new dimension in LCD TV technology. With a depth of less than one inch at its thinnest point, and a contrast ratio of 1 million to 1, the AQUOS Limited Edition Series is the culmination of 35 years of Sharp’s LCD innovation. Unmatched picture quality, ultra-thin design, and low energy consumption: it will change the way you watch TV. Part of Sharp’s line of 120 Hz LCD TVs.
