To get the most from these headphones, you should have a system with a 5.1-channel sound card. If you don't, consider buying the Voyetra Audio Advantage Roadie USB 5.1-channel audio adapter ($79.95), which lets you use the Ear Force HPA with any PC or home theater system.

Bottom Line

An excellent set of 5.1-channel headphones for the price, and they're suitable for music as well as movies and games. Just make sure you have a sound card capable of surround output.

Very good sound quality. Flexible sound-adjustment options. Individual volume controls for front, surround, center, and subwoofer. Included mic attachment enables voice chat.

Cons

Requires a sound card with surround outputs. Pads could be a bit larger and softer. Requires AC power.
