The mobiBLU B153 ($129.99 list)—formerly known as the DAH-1900—is a fairly beefy 2GB flash-based player (also available in 512MB and 1GB versions) from the makers of last year's immensely popular mobiBLU DAH-1500i cube-shaped player. It doesn't cash in on the cuteness factor of the cube or support online subscription services, and its two-color OLED screen won't do video or photos. The B153's main selling point is that it's got the "world's longest battery life"; the company claims it can run for up to 153 hours (hence the name). It also comes with interesting podcast-aggregator software called Podcast Ready, though that software doesn't seem ready for prime time. The player has some nice audio-related extras, but its buttons will frustrate most users very quickly. Overall, this player's performance is in line with its low price.
