Velocity Micro is no stranger to the boutique PC market and is known for crafting high-octane gaming systems. The NoteMagix M57 Ultra ($3,420 direct) notebook continues this tradition. It can handle the most intimidating of 3D games without flinching. Backed by one of the best mobile graphics chips currently available, the nVidia GeForce Go 7800 GTX, this robust portable even beat our reigning 3D champion, the Dell XPS M170 ($3,412).
