InoStor InteliNAS 4100

InoStor InteliNAS 4100

REVIEW

Businesses that are seeking an inexpensive solution and aren't bound to using Windows-driven products should consider the InoStor InteliNAS 4100. This is a well-made system, and one of only two in our roundup (the other being the Adaptec unit) to offer built-in backup. Its interface, however, is a little rough, leaving traces of its Linux heritage here and there.

Bottom Line

The InoStor InteliNAS 4100 is a well-made and affordable NAS solution with a built-in backup option that will serve most small to medium-size businesses well. An added bonus is the 4100's ability to make data shares available via HTTP.

Pros

Built-in backup solution; snapshot capability; HTTP access to share data.

Cons

Web-based interface is a little clunky with rather sparse details.
