The T3985 is a solid budget-class system from eMachines, offering decent performance and usability for the money. Its features and bundled software are a good match for the casual computer user, but don't expect it to perform stupendous multimedia feats.

The eMachines T3985 is a solid, if decidedly cost-conscious, system. Like your typical sedan, it isn't the flashiest or speediest out there, but it will do what you need it to do without too much fuss.
Built-in dual-layer DVD burner and memory card reader. Decent software bundle, including Microsoft Works and Money 2005.
Nonupgradable graphics. No surround sound on motherboard.
