Noise-canceling headphones that work are always a pleasant surprise. When they cost less than $40, they're remarkable. The Kensington Noise Canceling Headphones aren't the last word in noise canceling by any stretch, but they can take the edge off the droning noise of airplane cabins or other continuous sound sources.

Bottom Line

The Kensington Noise Canceling Headphones are comfortable, light, folding headphones that take the jagged edge off plane flights or other noisy environments. But they fall short of the performance of larger, heavier headphones.

Lightweight, comfortable folding design. Adequate audio quality. Moderate noise reduction at typical noisy-environment frequencies. Low price.

Cons

Limited noise reduction. Some shortcomings in audio reproduction.
