If size really does matter, then the Logitech Z-5500 Digital could be the ultimate 5.1-channel speaker system. Not only does it deliver frighteningly high volume levels and gut-thumping bass, but it's also one of the largest systems ever to hit the desktop.

Bottom Line

The Logitech Z-5500 Digital speaker system is a 5.1-channel behemoth that boasts a wealth of connectivity options and multi-channel effects. It's a perfect match for most game consoles, home theaters, and PCs—but its bombastic low end can become overbearing with certain types of source material.

Pros

Fearsome volume levels. Plugs directly into almost any analog or digital source. Deep bass. Outstanding tethered control pod and wireless remote.
