Apple AirPort Express

Apple Airport Express

REVIEW

Apple AirPort Express represents a cheap ($129 direct) and elegant solution for playing music throughout the house. For iTunes users who don't mind a product with no remote control, no onscreen TV display, and no WMA music support, AirPort Express is the one to have. It is unassailably easy to use.

The Apple AirPort Express is an affordable, easy-to-use 802.11g multifunction access point and digital music adapter that works with both PCs and Macs. As long as you stay in the MP3/AAC world and don't need photo or video support, it's a fine choice.

Simple and attractive. USB jack for printer. Plays all iTunes music.

Cons

No remote. No TV output, so you must go to host PC to control playback. Doesn't play WMA files. No photo or video support.
