Dell 2300MP

Dell 2300MP

REVIEW

The Dell 2300MP is a 4.7-pound light-cannon, brighter in our tests than any other projector in this class to date. The DLP imager has XGA resolution, and the direct price of $1,499 is quite low. Unfortunately, the projector has a mix of strengths and weaknesses that may not make it a good match for all users.

Bottom Line

The Dell 2300MP has an attractive price for a sub-five-pound XGA resolution projector, and that's before you get to that it can pump out more than 2,000 lumens. It's not perfect, however; limitations on image quality and mouse features take a bit off the product's luster. Whether this projector suits you will depend on how its strengths line up with your specific needs

Pros

Very bright image. Exemplary printed documentation. Pass-through monitor connection

Cons

Autosync required tweaking of settings. Limited mouse functions on remote control. Some image-quality flaws
