Even a casual glance at the copier-sized, 205-pound Ricoh Aficio CL7100D ($4,300 street) will tell you that it's a heavy-duty printer. The engine in this floor-standing color laser is rated at 35 pages per minute (ppm) for both monochrome and color, with a 200,000-page-per-month duty cycle. Office-friendly paper-handling features include a duplexer and 1,100-sheet paper capacity, with options to boost capacity to 3,100 sheets with the add-on 2,000-sheet paper drawer ($1,245 list). You can also add a stacker with a stapler ($3,100 list) or a booklet maker to fold, staple, and stack ($3,400 list), with a two- and three-hole punch option ($765 list) available for either.
