Significantly more expensive than some of its competition—notably the Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock ($149.95 list)—the Canon CP-330 Compact Photo Printer ($280 street) offers good-looking output at reasonably fast speeds. It also offers some additional features, including the ability to run off an included battery, all of which help justify the price.

Bottom Line

The Canon CP-330 Compact Photo Printer is relatively expensive to buy and run, but output quality is just short of excellent, and it comes with a battery, so you can bring the printer with you and print photos on the spot.

Pros

Prints directly from PictBridge cameras. Included battery makes it truly portable. Offers up to 4- by 8-inch prints.

Cons

Prints only from computers and cameras. Both the initial price and cost per page (for 4-by-6s) are on the high side.
