At first glance, the OKI B4350n looks like a personal laser printer. It measures just 8.5 by 14 by 15.6 inches (HWD) and weighs in at a mere 22 pounds. But as the $500 estimated street price suggests, there's something more high-powered inside the box. In fact, the B4350 is a network printer with a 23 page-per-minute (ppm) engine. More than that, it delivers better throughput than we've seen with some printers with engine ratings as high as 35 ppm.

Bottom Line

The Oki Data Oki B4350n will serve nicely as a light duty monochrome printer for a small workgroup or office, with fast print speeds, excellent text quality, and acceptable graphic and photo quality. But the relatively low paper capacity and limited paper handling options leave little room for growth.

Cons

Meager paper capacity for network printing, with a 250-sheet drawer in the base model, and a maximum 750-sheet capacity.
