The Motorola simplefi broadcasts the MP3 files already on your PC. But unlike the similar Voyetra Turtle Beach AudioTron, it won't play WMA files, and it offers only limited Internet radio broadcasts.

The simplefi uses HomeRF as its primary connection back to the PC. HomeRF is the 2.4-GHz wireless standard that time left behind. Since no PC or notebook has HomeRF built in, you have to deed one of your PC's USB ports over to a HomeRF-to-USB adapter. Despite these issues, the simplefi works well. The interface is simple, and there's enough buffer memory to withstand momentary signal loss. But it does less and costs more than the AudioTron.
