Company:
Philips Electronics N.V., www.streamium.com
Price:
$650 street
Spec Data:
Connects via Ethernet; 802.11g included; supports MP3; shows photos; plays Internet radio; shows video; has on-screen TV display.

Pros:
Single unit integrates multiple media types. Includes five loudspeakers. Impressive onscreen display. Secondary display. Wired and wireless (802.11g) connections.
Cons:
Lacks Windows Media support. No onscreen album art. No music with slide shows. Price may be a bit high for what you get. No audio CD lookup. PC must be on to play streaming media from network hard disk. Speaker power attainable only at extremely high distortion levels.
Bottom Line:
One box merges the past, present, and future of entertainment: AM/FM, CD, MP3 CD, and DVD, plus streaming music, photos, and video from your PC. While it has an excellent on-screen (TV) display plus useful system display, it still needs Windows Media support, on-screen album art, and a few other tweaks, though most should be available as firmware downloads.

If you check the support site for this, you'll see that it simply doesn't work. Crashes (!) on many DVD's, freezes, etc. Nearly ALL mx6000i users have these issues. Philips has admitted the problems, but continues to sell them and refused to fix. AVOID!!!
