Pros:
Versatile stand and portrait mode support. Good viewing angle. Includes speakers.
Cons:
Autosync did not eliminate all jitter. Weak performance on highlights.
Bottom Line:
Portrait mode support is usually a premium feature, yet here it is on a value-priced model that also has good viewing angle performance. The speakers are not as good as separate inexpensive desktop units, but are a space-saving alternative. The AOC LM729 could be a poster child for a value 17-inch LCD monitor.
