Like Midnight Club II, Midtown Madness 3 concentrates on arcade-style racing on the streets of real-life cities—in this case, Washington, D.C., and Paris. It's a bit more cartoonish than Midnight Club—for example, you'll find a ski jump on the National Mall in front of the Smithsonian—but at least you're driving cars like the Hummer H2 and the Mini Cooper.

Xbox Live response was quick and easily controllable. During one-on-one tag matches, we enjoyed the fastest game play among the titles we reviewed. And we appreciate the ability to set up a private game, preventing just anyone from showing up on our course during a one-on-one session.
