    Sharp Notevision PG-A10S-SL

A price of $1,500 for the Sharp Notevision PG-A10S-SL is average in our roundup, and it matches the Notevision's average performance and features. On our tests, the unit showed a brightness of 1,208 lumens, which is respectable compared with its rating of 1,500 lumens. But the Notevision's contrast ratio and brightness variance score were decidedly run-of-the-mill.

The projector's remote does not have mouse functions, and we found that light leakage was clearly visible on the lower-right quadrant of an all-black screen. Some artifacts were visible on color ramps, and in video, facial tones showed areas of pink and olive. The unit's good convergence and good documentation, both printed and electronic, are not enough to raise this projector above its average position among competitors.
