Watch Live: Google’s ‘Breakfast With Sundar’ Nexus 7, Android Event

Google has invited journalists to a Wednesday “breakfast with Sundar Pichai,” who heads up the company’s Chrome and Android teams, and all signs point to a new Nexus 7 and Android 4.3.

The event kicks off at noon Eastern, and is being livestreamed, so tune in via the video below. PCMag’s Damon Poeter is also there, and will be live-tweeting via @PCMagLive, the feed for which is embedded below the video, so check it out.

Google did not reveal what Pichai will be discussing today, but the rumor mill suggests that we’ll be seeing the next generation of Google’s 7-inch Nexus 7 tablet. It first made its debut at Google I/O 2012, so it’s definitely due for a refresh.

This morning, a pre-order page for a revamped Nexus 7 (pictured) actually went live on Best Buy’s website – $229.99 for a 16GB version or $269.99 for 32GB. The tablets are not searchable via BestBuy.com, and the store has since switched the “Pre-Order” button to a shaded “Coming Soon” option. But they have not been yanked, so you can check out the specs, which include Android 4.3 and a 1.5-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

We’ll have to wait until noon for all the details; be sure to follow along here.
