Brother on Thursday announced its new Business Smart Series color inkjet all-in-ones, dubbed the Brother MFC-J4510DW.

The Brother engineers managed to create a sleeker, easier on the eyes all-in-one printer complete with an easy-to-use 3.7-inch touch-screen display.

To provide everything most users want in a single business unit, Brother utilizes its Landscape Printing Technology, which reorients the way color inkjet printing is done. The technology changes how a page is stored and printed from portrait to landscape, thus reducing the machine footprint. With a reduced machine footprint, a printer will simply be able to print more quantities without getting backed up as easily.

In addition to a sleek design and reduced machine footprint, engineers also developed a new engine and increased the size of the print head to help increase print speeds. Ink cartridges were also redesigned to take up less space. All of this contributes to a new color inkjet all-in-one product line that looks to lower printing cost.

These all-in-ones also feature wireless and mobile device printing capabilities and automatic two-sided printing. All machines are also capable of printing 11×17-inch documents at a maximum of 27 pages per minute. The actual paper tray can hold up to 150 sheets of paper and bears a 20-page automatic document feeder for faxing, copying, and scanning.

Users can also manage the mobile printing features to connect and print from mobile devices, provided that your mobile device is compatible with Google Cloud Print, Brother iPrint&Scan, WiFi direct and Cortado Workplace. In addition, Web connectivity with Facebook, Picasa Web Albums, Flickr, Evernote, and Dropbox is accessible.

The Business Smart series inkjets, like all Brother products, offer a two-year warranty and free technical support for the life of the machine. With an estimated street price of $199, this printer will be available at the beginning October at office superstores and Best Buy, with additional models in the series expected later this year.
