RBH Speakers RBH Sound MC-6AW Outdoor Speaker

At first I was mainly thinking of the RBH Sound MC-6AW as patio speakers but upon setting them up for some listening tests I discovered ?indoor? possibilities as well. They shared many of the sonic virtues of my larger floorstander reference speakers and their performance absolutely bellied their asking price. As I listened, over and over I kept forgetting that these were small indoor/outdoor speakers and kept thinking they sounded better than some speakers I?ve reviewed from more prestigious brands costing several thousands of dollars. The MC-6AW?s can be used in multiple environments. They would be great mounted on the wall next to an on-wall television in either a bedroom or a family room. You could also class up your pool parties by using them on your pool deck or any patio. Just be careful not to make your audiophile friends too envious when they hear such great sound outdoors which ordinarily wouldn?t seem possible.

Demy Digital Recipe Reader

We’ve all heard how the latest netbook, smartphone or even Nintendo DS can double as a recipe book in the kitchen. But if you’ve actually dragged any of these fragile digital gadgets into the realm of splatter and spray, you’ve surely discovered their main problem. They get dirty. And unless you want to be puffing flour out of the speakers on your laptop and degreasing the buttons on your phone with a rag full of Lysol afterward, you have to be really careful with them. The new Demy dig...Read | Permalink | Linking Blogs

AV123 ELT 525 Surround Sound Speaker System

To say I was excited about the prospect of reviewing AV123s new entry-level surround sound system is an understatement. For those that dont know, AV123 is one of many companies that sell loudspeakers from their website only. The drawback is that one cannot audition the speakers before you purchase them. However, these companies usually offer an audition period where you can listen to them in the comfort of your own home without any pressure to buy as the company will refund 100% of your payment (these particular speakers carry a 3 year warranty with a 30 day trial period

Sony MDR-EX500LP Earbuds

As Sony’s aggressive line of car speakers and UFO-like mini-systems indicate, the company has never been shy or understated in the design of its audio equipment. Though its new MDR-EX500LP earbuds don’t promise to blow out your ears with a name like Xplod, the pair that tops Sony’s new EX line certainly haven’t gone quietly on style.Upon first inspection, the first thing that stands out about the EX500 are their disc-like drivers. Unlike a traditional earbud that has the flat portion of drive pointing directly into the ear,...Read | Permalink | Linking Blogs
