Pros: great picture, compact
Cons: terrible battery life, horrendous customer support from Toshiba
The Bottom Line: If the battery life was longer, the replacement battery cheaper, and if Toshiba cared about its customers, i would recommend it.

Pros: Unrivaled picture quality, excellent simulated 3D sound
Cons: Bulky, clunky unit with poor ergonomics, short battery life, need remote to access some features
The Bottom Line: The TFT screen is a marvel to behold. The sound quality is magnificent. Compare to other portable DVD screens, and I'm sure you will be sold on the Toshiba SDP-1000
