Aiwa D-98, get a bargain

Pros: Many features, Dolby Digital and DTS, Loads of connections
Cons: Lousy Remote, can't bi-amp speakers successfully
The Bottom Line: Buy it if you can get it reasonable

Aiwa AV-D98 Home Theater Receiver

Pros: Affordable, Dolby Digital, DTS, Good power output, easy, optical and coaxial digital inputs.
Cons: It only lasted a year and a half, remote is among the worst ever designed.
The Bottom Line: I can't give this receiver my recommendation considering is lifespan. The sound wasn't all that great and I'd feel better advising you to look elsewhere for a surround sound receiver.
