Pros: Balanced simplicity and customability, power, efficiency, expandability, and just plain fun.
Cons: Speaker placement and a few first-generation hiccups.
The Bottom Line: One of the finest phones and productivity tools on the market. See the phone in person if you have qualms with its appearnce in pictures. Buy.

T-Mobile's G1: The Anti-iPhone Is Here...And It Rocks

Pros: Illuminated, full keyboard; crisp, beautiful LCD; YouTube built in; lots of nice features.
Cons: Relatively short battery life; limited selection of applications (currently); inconsistent user interface; bugs.
The Bottom Line: A great alternative to the iPhone, if for no other reason that it's NOT associated with AT&T.

Great phone! With some catches...

Pros: Easy to use, lots of features, easy to customize, reliable, well engineered.
Cons: Short battery life (even with update), camera a bit slow..
The Bottom Line: Great phone. The pros outweigh the cons. It's a bit on the spendy side, but you get what you pay for and it is SO well designed and engineered!
