Pros: Very good picture, sound and build quality. Reasonable price.
Cons: Very glitchy and will frustrate average users.
The Bottom Line: Blu Ray is a flawed and confusing format but if you must have a player, this is a good unit. I'd advise against spending more right now.

not a good decision

Pros: great image and sound when it works
Cons: rigged with continuous firmware bugs, very slow
The Bottom Line: Not recommended because Pioneer is not able to come up with a decent firmware. Just look at the multiple updates history for their BluRays
