Too complicated to keep updated!

Pros: Cost, good picture, easy initial setup.
Cons: Having to update firmware,quit playing regular DVDs,overheats halfway through the movie then skips.

Cons: Cheap materials Lacking in features Ineffective firmware updates Awful technical support
The Bottom Line: Unlike other components, the quality of a blu-ray player rests on the quality of its firmware updates. Samsung falls down in this area. Do not buy this product.

Pros: Affordable price, decent load time, Profile 2.0, Ethernet jack for updates
Cons: Requires your own flash drive for BD-Live, no analog 5.1 output, no digital coaxial audio
