A naturally sound choice in CD changers

Pros: Brilliantly detailed sound that rivals LPs. Fine quality construction. Very reasonable price tag.
Cons: Hard to believe the same people who designed this awesome player also designed the remote.
The Bottom Line: If you have any doubts that digital audio can sound as warm, clean and detailed as vinyl, this affordable CD changer will dispel them.

How Did Yamaha Beat Denon?

Pros: Straight forward design. Transparent sound. excellent resistance to skipping. Quiet!
Cons: No "Power" button on the remote.
The Bottom Line: In a market filled with frills and thrills, the Yamaha CDC 585 is a refreshingly simple first rate design that should please even the most demanding audiophile for years!
