Very disappointed

(1.00 out of 5) by v65magnaebayer on Nov 17, 2009

Pros: Very fast recycle, no shutter lag, good video, good battery life, great zoom.
Cons: Terrible low-light and flash performance. Anything above ISO80 unacceptably noisy. Annoying to use.
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this camera at all. I wish I had purchased the Sony SX10 or SX20 instead. Even the Panasonic is a much, much better superzoom.

I bought this camera from Wolf Camera for a song when my local store went out of business. I wish I ...

Amazing no-flash setting, movies very impressive

(5.00 out of 5) by jrcortez on May 26, 2009

Pros: So many to list, see description.
Cons: Memory cards and battery are proprietary. Battery life is so-so.
The Bottom Line: Features, features, features!! For the money this camera does so, so much. I bought it recently for just under $300, and now the price has gone up! Get it fast!

My last camera was a little Canon Powershot S110 which I bought about 10 years ago. Now, two months ...

Sony Cyber Shot H50 - A cool camera to hang on with !!

(4.00 out of 5) by giza1 on May 13, 2009

Pros: Flash is self guided, so it identifies the low light and opens automatically.
Cons: Bulky. Advanced Sports shooting only clicks in the day time or bright light
The Bottom Line: My recommendation is a definite buy. Those who have interest in photography will not get a better experience than this.

The best part you find about this is the ease with which you can click through the Auto mode, or go ...

P&S Continues To Amaze the Amature

(4.00 out of 5) by rallynow on Dec 22, 2008

Pros: Quality of prints for my tastes; many features; reasonable price; capable getting the action shots
Cons: The Wheel Dial; need to price in the memory card
The Bottom Line: Biased toward Sony products. Significant learning curve esp for the manipulation of the buttons, but doable with patience and care. Not one for beginner unless much time will be devoted.

I owned an Olympus FE-100 that I bought over three years ago and that gave me problems from the star ...
