Finally! A Laser Printer of my Own!
Pros: Professional output. Often on sale. Quick 'n simple.
Cons: May experience installation glitches. Rare trouble sensing single papers.

DO NOT BUY an Hp P1006 until 2010
Pros: Fast start-up, excellent print quality, very compact & quiet.
Cons: Paper jams, spooler problem requires constant computer rebooting. AVOID P1006 LIKE THE PLAGUE!
The Bottom Line: P1006 was current laser on my desk. Today it is being replaced by a Samsung ML-2510 due to annoying paper jams and computer rebooting to clear unprinted jobs.

Pros: Price, Small Footprint, "Draft" Toner Option, Quiet, FAST.
