Small device for streaming audio listening on my stereo

Pros: wired or wireless hookup. compact and attractive. Display easy to read. Smooth performance
Cons: time-consuming to configure, Largely functionally redundant. No stand-alone mode. No batteries
The Bottom Line: A good player with some caveats. Excellent performance, but lacking in built-in storage and battery.

Well-Designed Toy of the Future

Pros: Excellent design, great features, brilliant interface, small size, flexible operation, attractive packaging, intuitive setup, affordable
Cons: Silver/black only, smallish screen, hard-to-find locally, UPnP compatibility issues(?), audio only
The Bottom Line: Kudos to Roku's thoughtful designers for this attractive, solidly built, and intuitive audio streamer - functionality, usability, and open source expandability to boot!

Pros: Solid, nice and small, plays everything, good for both nontechnical and technical people
Cons: No fast forward/rewind (cue/review)
The Bottom Line: Buy this and free yourself from burning CDs.
