Pros: None. HP sucks.
Cons: Poor quality paper feed mechanism. Can't reach all rollers to clean. Slow. Expensive ink.
The Bottom Line: Don't buy this or any other HP printer. This is my second and last photosmart. Poor build quality designed to break after the warranty ends. Expensive ink.

Frequent paper jams, driver incompatible with Word 2007
Pros: Higher quality than cheap printers, excellent photos, fast
Cons: Driver incompatibility with Word 2007, paper jams, ink-thirsty
The Bottom Line: Avoid buying this printer if you use Office 2007, if you don't tolerate paper jams, and if your annual ink budget is less than the value of the printer.

Great for typical printing of photos and documents although a bit erratic
Pros: The prints on glossy paper rivals photo labs, very quick black and white printing.
Cons: Initial software setup failed, noisy, doesn't hold much paper, long start-up time.
The Bottom Line: This printer prints excellent photos as long as you take the initial time to set it up and learn how to use it.

Pros: Price, print quality, scanned image quality
Cons: Low ink capacity cartridges. Small paper tray. Takes occasional 2-5 minute noise breaks.
The Bottom Line: Good prints, good scanned image quality. Good price. Takes noise breaks from time to time. Seems heavy on expensive ink, ebay cheap brands seem OK.

Great printer - difficult installation
Pros: Network capable, auto duplex printing, separate color ink cartridges, built-in card reader, photo paper loader.
Cons: No installation CD or download instructions, difficult setup & configuration, erroneous duplex error message.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this printer if you're able to download and configure the setup software without adequate instructions. The features are worth the effort involved.
This is the 2nd HP printer I've owned, and it's a vast improvement over my old one, which was not a ...
