OK basic (VERY basic) phone, but with problems

(2.00 out of 5) by matthewv789 on Dec 11, 2004

Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Flip phone, Not too complicated, Cheap
Cons: Reliability, Battery life, Lack of features, Only average or below signal and audio quality
The Bottom Line: If it comes free with your service, it may be an acceptable basic phone, though cross your fingers and hope you don't have problems with overheating or battery life evaporating.

Cons: battery life indicator is inaccurate, battery runs out quick
The Bottom Line: I would recommend it to first time buyers or for teenagers. If your looking for e-mail and games don't buy it.

I have had the phone for nearly 2 years but now I have given up on it. I had no problems with the ac ...

OK if you're always near towers, but don't bother with this one...

(3.00 out of 5) by rooks1492 on Sep 17, 2003

Pros: Small, light, easy to use. No nonsense phone when you just want to call someone.
Cons: Goes bad frequently, poor reception/range, short battery life when you're far from a tower.
The Bottom Line: I would advise staying away, unless you need something cheap (~$25 on ebay), or were using it only in town/city, where there was plenty of tower.

I received mine for free ($100 off) with my Sprint PCS Free & Clear plan. When I purchased my plan, ...
