Four years and still going strong!

Pros: Small size and produces very good sound
Cons: Subwoofer is encased in plastic, not wood. Annoying power-saving circuit
The Bottom Line: Although these speakers are a bit old, you really can't go wrong with them. I suggest you get this or its successors like the FPS2000.

A poor man's surround sound.

Pros: Crisp, clear highs and lows; small size, big sound; Won't break the bank.
Cons: Lots of cables, "brick" power supply.
The Bottom Line: If you want surround sound, but can't afford the newest setups, give Cambridge SoundWorks a try.

Good speaker setup

Pros: Great bass, good for gaming, good price
Cons: Picks up CB radio sometimes, location of volume and power buttons.
The Bottom Line: Get these if you like surround effects for gaming, but I may stick with a high-end 2 speaker setup if you have limited space in/around your desk.
